Idea 35: oNotes
The idea of a platform of aromatic communication came to David and his former student Rachel Field in 2014. Going beyond the first primitive oPhone, they worked with designers Baptiste Viala and Laurent Milon, and the team at Le Laboratoire, to create the oNotes platform (see onotes.com) around the first commercial oPhone, the DUO. The first oNotes expanded communication around coffee, and restaurant experiences, to enrich dialogue between consumers and culinary experts, educate, and help consumers better choose and experience aromatic foods and beverages. Their iPhone app oSnap provided a way to create, send and experience oNotes via mobile messaging.
